On Friday, the Panthers announced the acquisition of 17 year old centre, Mason Goodfellow, from the King Rebellion of the OJHL. Goodfellow, a 6 foot, left shot out of Yarker, ON is property of the Barrie Colts of the OHL having been drafted by the club in the third round (59th pick overall) in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection. This season, Goodfellow has picked up a goal and an assist in 9 games with King. Last season, Goodfellow split time between the Wellington Dukes and Toronto Jr. Canadiens of the OJHL, in which he recorded 3 goals and 1 assist in 20 games, and the U18 AAA Ajax/Pickering Raiders in which he picked up 9 goals and 12 assists in 23 games.
